BlackBerry unveils new flagship Q20 handsetFebruary 27, 2014 - 18:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - BlackBerry has introduced two new handsets to its BlackBerry 10 smartphone line-up, Digital Spy said. The Q20 is the Canadian company's flagship device and represents a return to its roots with a full physical QWERTY keyboard. Described by its CEO John Chen as "the classic", the smartphone also features physical buttons for menu, back, send and end, as well as an integrated trackpad. A 3.5-inch screen is on board the device - the largest for any BlackBerry smartphone yet alongside a QWERTY keyboard - and includes a stronger battery life compared to its previous handsets. The Q20 is expected to land in the second half of the year. Meanwhile, the firm also unveiled a new 5-inch touchscreen-based smartphone, the BlackBerry Z3, which will retail for less than $200. The device will only release as a 3G smartphone in Indonesia initially before rolling out across south east Asia. BlackBerry plans to make the device available wider with a 4G version in the future.
