U2's new album, tour postponed till 2015 (video) March 10, 2014 - 18:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Despite the success of their recent songs like "Ordinary Love" and "Invisible", U2 has apparently decided to wait a little longer until they can release a new album. The Irish band has reportedly delayed the arrival of what will be their 13th studio effort, AceShowbiz said. According to Billboard, the Bono-fronted group is having additional sessions with producers like Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic and Paul Epworth. Danger Mouse will still serve as executive producers of the album, whose title is still kept under wraps. A source told the music site, "It seems to be taking longer for them to finish an album as they get older, but the great thing about U2 is that the whole of a record is always better than the sum of its parts. That magic that the band always seems to capture ... they have yet to capture it." The album is now expected to arrive in 2015. A representative for Interscope said that the record couldn't be considered as delayed because the release date had never been set. Additionally, Billboard found out that U2 had pushed back their upcoming tour. Initially planned to open next September, the tour will now begin in summer 2015.
