“Skyfall” star Daniel Craig exits

PanARMENIAN.Net - Daniel Craig has put the production of court drama "The Whole Truth" on hold. The filming was postponed after the James Bond depicter unexpectedly pulled out of the project, just days before it was scheduled to begin, AceShowbiz said.

The production was supposed to start on April 14 in Boston, but now has been pushed back three weeks as producers are scrambling to find replacement for Craig. The "Skyfall" star reportedly dropped out of the movie on Sunday, April 6.

Courtney Hunt ("Frozen River) will direct the film scripted by Nicholas Kazan. Renee Zellweger and Gabriel Basso have already been signed on for the project, while Danny Huston is in negotiations to join the cast.

The movie was announced at the Berlin Film Festival in February this year. The storyline is still under wraps, but Craig was supposed to play a district attorney.

Craig is expected to reprise his role as Agent 007 in "Bond 24" which is planned to start filming later this year. Directed by "Skyfall" helmer Sam Mendes and scripted by John Lohan, it is scheduled for 23 October 2015 release.
