He teams up with rescue helicopter Blade Ranger, spirited super scooper Dipper, heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie, and all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. In this world of aerial firefighting, he learns what it takes to be a true hero.

The voice cast members include Julie Bowen, Ed Harris, and Curtis Armstrong. A sequel to "Cars" spin-off "Planes" (2013), the 3D animated comedy adventure film will be released in the States starting July 18.
