PanARMENIAN.Net - The 87th annual Academy Awards will be held on February 22 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, The Economic Times reported.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has revealed that nominees will be announced on January 15 and voting for which will begin on December 29, 2014 and end on January 8, 2015.

No host has been announced yet for the Hollywood's biggest night.

This year's host Ellen DeGeneres made headlines during the telecast for ordering a pizza for the nominees and taking a star-studded selfie that broke social media records.

The very first Academy Awards were held in 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
