Rolling Stones rocks Norway in 1st concert since Jagger girlfriend’s death

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Rolling Stones is back on the road after taking a break for more than two months. The British band resumed their world tour in Oslo, Norway on Monday, May 26, marking their first performance since the death of Mick Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott, AceShowbiz said.

During the show at the Telenor Arena, Jagger pumped up the crowd with a high-energy performance. Rocking a tight black shirt and jeans for most of the night, he said he was happy to be back in the Nordic city where the band first performed on a tour in 1965.

During the show, the band treated the crowd with performance of their hit songs including "Satisfaction", "Brown Sugar" and "Sympathy for the Devil". They will next hit Lisbon and Zurich among other European countries, before heading Down Under for the Australian leg of their "14 On Fire" tour.

The rock band previously postponed their world tour to allow Jagger mourn the tragic passing of fashion designer L'Wren Scott, his longtime girlfriend, on March 17. In a statement released following the sad news, Jagger said, "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way."
