Red Cross official shot dead on Libya’s Sirte

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gunmen shot dead an official at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the central Libyan city of Sirte on Wednesday, ICRC and local officials said, according to Reuters.

Libyan television stations said the victim was a Swiss national who ran the ICRC office in the western city of Misrata and was visiting Sirte.
