Joel and Ethan Coen to reteam with George Clooney for “Hail, Caesar”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Universal Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to Joel and Ethan Coen's original screenplay Hail, Caesar. The siblings will direct the movie, which reteams them with star George Clooney, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Additionally, Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men) has boarded the project, which the Coens are producing under their Mike Zoss Productions banner alongside Working Title Films' Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan.

Hail, Caesar tells the comedic tale of Eddie Mannix, a fixer who works for the Hollywood studios in the 1950s.

In recent days, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the Coen brothers have come onboard to pen Steven Spielberg's and Tom Hanks' untitled Cold War thriller for DreamWorks.
