Guy Pearce, Robert Pattinson in “The Rover” crime thriller featurette

PanARMENIAN.Net - In a new featurette for “The Rover”, a crime thriller starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson, writer/director David Michôd describes Pearce's character as “murderously angry.”

Set 10 years after the collapse of society, “The Rover” follows Eric (Pearce), a hardened loner, on a journey through a lawless, desolate landscape. When thugs steal his car, Eric enlists the help of a wounded Rey (Robert Pattinson) to track down the only possession that still matters to him.

Based on a story that Michôd conceived with Joel Edgerton, “The Rover” is produced by Liz Watts, David Linde, and Michôd. A24 will distribute the film to LA and New York theaters Friday, June 13, and nationwide Friday, June 20, TheWrap said.
