Elle Fanning, Ben Kingsley meet lovable monsters in “Boxtrolls” trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the upcoming stop-motion animated film The Boxtrolls, Elle Fanning and Ben Kingsley meet monsters that aren't as menacing as they seem, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Tracy Morgan, Toni Collette, Simon Pegg and Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Game of Thrones) also provide voices in the film about a boy named Eggs who was raised by the cave-dwelling Boxtrolls.

After growing up with the trolls, Eggs has trouble adjusting to the civilized world. In one scene, he startles a socialite by licking her.

Graham Annable and Anthony Stacchi co-directed the film based on the 2006 novel Here Be Monsters! by Alan Snow.

Laika, the studio behind the 2009 hit Coraline, produced the film, and Focus Features releases it on Sept. 26.
