Samsung enters partnership with Spotify

PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung has entered a partnership with Spotify that will pair the music streaming service with a line of wireless speakers, Digital Spy reported.

The move sees Spotify subscribers able to control Samsung M Series speakers directly through the platform's official app.

Furthermore, Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom is the first product line to enable Spotify Connect to stream music to more than one speaker simultaneously.

News of Samsung's Spotify partnership follows confirmation that Apple has completed a big-money acquisition of Beats Electronics to boost its presence in the audio sector.

Comprising M5 and M7 speakers, Samsung's M Series can also be paired with a range of other hardware, including smart TVs and Blu-ray players.

Spotify is the world's largest music streaming service, with more than 40 million active users.
