“Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt?” hit book adaptation trailer (video) July 14, 2014 - 12:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The new trailer for Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt? shows a dystopian U.S. where factories are in ruins and jobs are scarce, and it features a shadowy figure revealing himself as the mysterious John Galt, The Hollywood Reporter said. The trailer is set to debut in theaters on Friday, July 18 in front of the movie Persecuted, which opens in 600 theaters that day. Persecuted is about government corruption, which is, of course, a theme in the Atlas Shrugged movie trilogy that is based on Ayn Rand's book of the same name. Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt stars Laura Regan and Rob Morrow as protagonists Dagny Taggart and Hank Rearden, and Kristoffer Polaha plays Galt, the man who might have orchestrated a bizarre "strike" against government officials who demonize success and pass restrictive regulations on businesses. The movie is produced by Harmon Kaslow and John Aglialoro and distributed by Atlas Distribution Co. It opens Sept. 12, which the filmmakers figure is an opportune date given it is weeks ahead of what are expected to be headline-generating midterm elections.
