PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Company Man" could be Matthew McConaughey's next starring vehicle. The Oscar-winning actor reportedly is circling the Black List script by Andrew Cypiot and was even involved in the process of looking for a director, AceShowbiz said.

According to Deadline, McConaughey is getting hands on in the untitled Edwin Wilson project although his reps said nothing was set in stone yet. The film is based on true story of CIA agent Edwin Wilson who "went behind enemy lines to secure a weapons contract and report information back to the CIA shortly after the Cold War."

However, his rise on the company came crashing down when the agency changed its policies and he was fired. Wilson became a man without a country and public enemy No. 1 to the U.S. Attorney's office. Mark Sourian is producing the movie with Josh Kazdan.

McConaughey has "Sea of Trees" already lined-up in his schedule and may return to "Magic Mike" sequel.
