Israel mulls Armenian Genocide recognition?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israeli and Armenian officials are holding intensive talks for Jerusalem’s recognition of the 1915 Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, Vestnk Kavkaza reports.

According to the daily’s Israeli correspondent, the Armenian side suggested that the newly-elected leader Reuven Rivlin should announce Jerusalem’s recognition of the Genocide at the April 2015 events dedicated to the centenary of the tragedy.

According to a high-ranking Israeli official, the idea is being widely promoted among the leaders of the country’s Armenian lobby, with the latters’ names unannounced.
