According to the daily’s Israeli correspondent, the Armenian side suggested that the newly-elected leader Reuven Rivlin should announce Jerusalem’s recognition of the Genocide at the April 2015 events dedicated to the centenary of the tragedy. According to a high-ranking Israeli official, the idea is being widely promoted among the leaders of the country’s Armenian lobby, with the latters’ names unannounced.
