J.K. Rowling unveils new “Harry Potter” story, character, and song

PanARMENIAN.Net - With an expanded theme park and several new movies on the way, J.K. Rowling continues to add to the Harry Potter universe, TheWrap reported.

On Monday, August 18, Rowling released a new story about a little-known side character within her magical world, a half-Muggle soul singer named Celestina Warbeck.

“Although we never lay eyes on Celestina during the whole seven volumes of the Potter books, I always imagined her to resemble Shirley Bassey in both looks and style,” Rowling revealed in a letter attached to the new character bio placed within Pottermore.com. “I stole her first name from a friend with whom I worked, years ago, at Amnesty International's Headquarters in London; ‘Celestina’ was simply begging to be scooped up and attached to a glamorous witch.”

Warbeck is Molly Weasley's favorite singer, and the voice of such hits as “You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me” and “A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love.” She also had a massive global hit album called “You Stole My Cauldron but You Can't Have My Heart.”

The new reveal is a smart tie-in with the expanded Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is introducing performances by “Warbeck” for diehard fans.
