LG’s 1st 4K Ultra-HD OLED televisions available for pre-order this weekAugust 26, 2014 - 13:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - LG has announced that its first 4K Ultra-HD OLED televisions will be available to pre-order in its native South Korea this week, Digital Spy reported. The LG 65EC9700 and LG 77EG9700 sets will be released in Europe and the US shortly after making their debut in Asia. Both sets come with curved displays, vibrant OLED panels, LG's webOS user interface and Four-Colour Pixel WRGB technology. "LG 4K OLED TV... will change the dynamics of the next generation TV market," said Hyun-hwoi Ha, president and CEO of LG Home Entertainment. "As the next evolutionary step in display technology, OLED will play a major role in reshaping our industry. I feel confident when I say that 4K OLED is a bona fide game changer." Neither set comes cheap, with the 65-inch model launching in the UK with a price tag of around £5,999 and the 77-inch set costing a whopping £19,999.
