Instagram unveils new Hyperlapse video app

PanARMENIAN.Net - Instagram has launched a new application called Hyperlapse.

As Digital Spy reveals, currently iOS only, the new app can capture time-lapse videos even while moving your smartphone about.

A normal time-lapse video would require a tripod and your camera being completely still, but Instagram's clever algorithm has changed this.

The application is less of a social network and more a video app. It doesn't require an account to be used and simply works directly with the iPhone's camera.

A single tap will start recording and tapping again will stop; playback speed can then be adjusted and the video subsequently saved to Instagram.

For those interested, the application is currently available to download on iTunes here.
