The Armenian citizen who crossed the border is 53-year-old Sargis Ananyan, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement, noting that the man is currently under the supervision of doctors and he is being treated in accordance with norms of international law. According to the Armenian voters register, Ananyan is registered in the city of Noyemberyan in Armenia’s Tavush province. Meanwhile, the Yerevan Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reported to be working on the issue of Ananyan.
