MOTA SmartRing offers alternative to smartwatches, headsetsSeptember 4, 2014 - 13:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There's a new wearable in town that brings notifications to your finger, Digital Spy reveals. The MOTA SmartRing is one of many innovations unveiled at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin this week, offering an alternative to smartwatches and headsets. The device offers alerts for everything from new text messages to email and Facebook notifications with a vibration. Connecting with both iOS and Android handsets, alerts from Twitter, incoming phone calls and calendar reminders are also provided on the mini screen face. The vibration can even be set to different patterns for different smartphone contacts. MOTA is due to begin shipping the device later this year in midnight black and pearl white variants.
