Microsoft expands Nokia Lumia lineup with 'selfie phones'

PanARMENIAN.Net - Microsoft expanded its Nokia Lumia line-up at the IFA trade show with the launch of two "selfie smartphones", Digital Spy reveals.

The Lumia 730 is a dual-SIM phone with a 5-megapixel front camera, while the Lumia 735 is a 4G version of the device, minus the dual-SIM functionality.

Each phone also includes a 4.7-inch HD display, 8GB of storage, a 2,200mAh battery, and a 6.7-megapixel rear snapper with Zeiss optics and a f/1.9 aperture.

Microsoft claims that the handsets' front-facing cameras are better equipped for selfies than any of their rivals, thanks to their enhanced focal length and wider angles.

The Lumia Selfie, which was released for other Nokia devices today, comes pre-loaded on the Lumia 730 and 735, helping users capture, edit and share their self-portrait shots.

The Lumia 730 and 735 will be available to purchase later this month, priced at €129 and €199 respectively.

Microsoft unveiled the devices alongside its "affordable flagship" Nokia Lumia 830.
