Viber introduces video call in latest updateSeptember 13, 2014 - 13:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Viber has rolled out its latest update, introducing video calling to the mobile version of the service, Digital Spy said. Version 5.0 of the software lets users take part in video conversations, a move that brings the platform in line with rivals such as Skype. Video calls have been available on the desktop version of Viber for some time, and users can now switch between PC and mobile mid-chat. Viber 5.0 also makes it easier for users to find their friends thanks to the addition of QR code support, and comes with a fresh redesign. Version 4.1 of Viber's mobile applications, which debuted in December last year, introduced the option to call any mobile or landline number in-app. Viber is available as a free download from Google Play and the App Store.
