Jason Schwartzman, Elisabeth Moss in “Listen Up Philip” trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Jason Schwartzman and Elisabeth Moss play a couple who are pretty much sick of each other in the first full trailer for the dark comedy Listen Up Philip, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Schwartzman (Saving Mr. Banks) stars as the eponymous novelist, who is invited by his favorite author to his home in the woods. This doesn't exactly bode well for Philip's floundering relationship with his girlfriend (Moss, Get Him to the Greek), especially when Philip meets the author's fetching daughter (Krysten Ritter, Veronica Mars).

In one scene, Philip has a rather surprising response when he gets called out for bragging about his writing career.

Jess Weixler (The Good Wife) and Jonathan Pryce (the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films) co-star. Alex Ross Perry wrote and directed.

Listen Up Philip premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Tribeca Film releases it Oct. 17.
