Getty Images rolls out free photo app for iOSSeptember 22, 2014 - 14:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Getty Images has launched a new app for browsing and sharing photos from its library, Digital Spy said. The free app, called Getty Images Stream, is available on iOS now. Users can search through the company's archives to share and embed images on blogs and social media, as well as receive customised alerts for newly added images. Photos are organised into news, sports, entertainment and archival categories curated by Getty editors. There is also a slideshow function that works with Apple TV via AirPlay to show pictures on your television screen. The new app follows Getty's decision to make its library available free to the public back in March.
