Orion Releasing nabs “We’ll Never Have Paris” Simon Helberg comedySeptember 24, 2014 - 10:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Orion Releasing has picked up the North American rights to the comedy We’ll Never Have Paris, the directorial debut of Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg, The Hollywood Reporter said. Helberg also wrote and stars in the indie, which was co-directed by his wife, Jocelyn Towne, and is based on the couple’s real life love story. The movie co-stars Melanie Lynskey, Zachary Quinto, Alfred Molina, Jason Ritter and Maggie Grace. According to Orion, the movie centers “neurotic mess of a man (Helberg) in the midst a quarter-life crisis that explodes when an attractive coworker (Grace) confesses her love for him mere moments before he is about to propose to his longtime girlfriend (Lynskey). When he up and leaves his true love he regrets his decision almost instantly - only to discover she has fled to Paris and he must now dash across the Atlantic to win her back.” The plan is to release the movie theatrically Jan. 22, 2015 in advance of a VOD release.
