Apple issues latest iOS 8 update, promises to fix iPhone problems

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple has issued its latest iOS 8 update, which promises to fix iPhone problems of late, Digital Spy said.

iOS 8.0.2 not only addresses errors on the first version of iOS 8, but also those introduced with Wednesday's (September 24) short-lived iOS 8.0.1 which caused network signal loss and Touch ID failure.

Apple issued advice on how to restore handsets back to normal yesterday, although the technique required some computer tinkering.

iPhone users should now have full-functionality restored with the latest fix, as well as access to HealthKit apps made available on the App Store for the first time.

According to The Verge, Apple pulled the iOS 8.0.1 update in less than an hour, resulting in fewer than 40,000 people downloading it.

iOS has not been the only problem for Apple this week, after it emerged that some of its iPhone 6 Plus handsets may bend when pocketed for too long. The company responded to the criticism, saying: "A bend is extremely rare."
