"The Mentalist" hit series Season 7 confirmed to be last

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Mentalist" is indeed coming to an end with its upcoming season. Words had been out since earlier this year that the seventh season would be the last for the show, but it had never been confirmed until recently, AceShowbiz said.

Tim Kang shared the news of the show's cancellation on Twitter. He wrote earlier this month, "This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it's so fun and such a great season!"

Fans responded with comments that they're sad the show's going to end. In a reply to a fan's comment, Kang who portrays Agent Kimball Cho since the first season tweeted, "@iloveTM1 Don't cry. It's gonna be really fun!!" He also posted in the comment, "@davidgahans It's always a blast doing what we love."

The actor additionally thanked loyal fans of the long-running series, writing, "@CJDavey Thanks, Connor! You've been with us since Day 1. Thanks for being with us!" and "@pinkishk1ss Thanks for being with is for 7 years!!!!"

"The Mentalist" seventh and likely last season is scheduled to debut in midseason 2015 on CBS. Emmy-nominated actor Simon Baker stars as former "psychic" Patrick Jane who becomes a consultant to the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after the brutal murders of his wife and his daughter.
