Apple “to refresh Mac Mini micro computer range at iPad launch event”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple is rumored to be refreshing its Mac Mini range at next month's iPad launch, according to Digital Spy.

Anonymous sources have apparently told MacRumours that a new model of the micro computer will be announced alongside the next-gen tablets and OS X Yosemite.

Apple last updated its Mac Mini in 2012, launching a model powered by Intel's Ivy Bridge processors.

The report does not include any information about what the next refresh will entail, but Apple's product history suggests that the new machine will ship with an Intel Core M processor and OS X Yosemite on board.

The Mac Mini has proven popular with customers who already own a keyboard, mouse and monitor, and is well suited for use as a server.

Previous reports suggest that the iPad event could be held on October 21, but this date remains unconfirmed.
