Sharlto Copley as homicide detective in “Powers” trailer (video) October 13, 2014 - 18:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first trailer for "Powers", PlayStation Network's TV show adapted from comic book series of the same name, has premiere at New York Comic-Con. It shows Sharlto Copley as Christian Walker, a homicide detective who used to have superpowers, AceShowbiz said. "There was a time when I could fly. I was a hero," he explains. "But I lost my powers. So they gave me a badge. What am I supposed to do with that?" At one point, he is taunted by his enemy, "How does it feel Christian, to be powerless?" Walker, along with Deena Pilgrim played by Susan Heyward, is assigned to investigate cases involving people with extraordinary abilities. What if the world was full of superheroes who aren't actually heroic at all? What if all that power was just one more excuse for mischief, mayhem, murder, and endorsement deals? The TV series will debut this December. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
