The poster for the dinosaur-centric reboot captures the same classic look of the original film's poster. However, instead of that film's bold yellow-and-red logo, this one is gray and features a smoky background. The poster reveals the film's first tagline: "The park is open." Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) tweeted the poster Tuesday, Oct 14. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins and Omar Sy star. Few plot details are currently known. The franchise has been dormant since 2001's Jurassic Park III. Directed by Joe Johnston, it grossed $363 million worldwide, which was down significantly from Steven Spielberg's The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which made $614 million worldwide upon its 1997 release.
