The Android-powered console is designed to run games from the Google Play store, as well as media apps such as Netflix. The Nexus Player comes with a Bluetooth remote with voice search, while users can purchase an optional game controller for the system. The console comes with 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. It will launch in the US on November 3 at $99, with pre-orders beginning on October 17. Google also unveiled the Nexus 6 phablet built by Motorola, and the Nexus 9 tablet constructed by HTC.
