The Orchard picks up “Dior and I” fashion documentaryOctober 24, 2014 - 15:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Orchard has acquired all rights in the U.S. and Canada to director Frederic Tcheng’s fashion documentary “Dior and I”, Variety reported. The film, which premiered in April at the Tribeca Film Festival and competed at the Seattle Film Fest, is the third fashion movie for Tcheng, who co-wrote and co-directed “Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel” and co-produced “Valentino: The Last Emperor.” “Dior and I” centers on Raf Simons’ debut collection as creative director of Christian Dior Couture, showing the inner workings of the eight-week process up until the premiere. The Orchard plans a 2015 theatrical release in the U.S. and Canada. The deal was negotiated by Danielle DiGiacomo of the Orchard and Josh Braun of Submarine.
