Entertainment Weekly reports that the film's recent trailer, which debuted online on Wednesday (October 22), gained 34.3 million global views within 24 hours. Approximately 26.2 million of these views came from Marvel's official YouTube account. A promo for Captain America: The Winter Soldier previously managed 23.5 million on its first day of release. Iron Man 3 had 23.14 million, while a teaser for the original Avengers gathered 20.4 million. The trailer for the Avengers sequel was originally intended for release during ABC's broadcast of Agents of SHIELD on Tuesday (October 28). However, the footage leaked online, prompting Marvel to release it early. Marvel has now announced that they will instead broadcast a full clip from the film during Tuesday's airing of Agents of SHIELD. Avengers: Age of Ultron will reunite Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), as they work together to stop Ultron (James Spader), a malevolent artificial intelligence. It will be released on April 24 in the UK and on May 1 in the US. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
