HTC to launch Rapid Charger which restores battery 40% fasterNovember 3, 2014 - 15:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - HTC is preparing to launch a new Rapid Charger which restores battery for its smartphones much quicker than before, Digital Spy reveals. Only recent HTC devices with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 on board will be able to take advantage of the Rapid Charger 2.0. This extends to the One M8, One E8, One Remix and Desire Eye. If you own one of these devices, you'll be able to charge your smartphone 40% faster than before. According to HTC Source, devices with Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 tech on board - such as the HTC One M7 - can also use the new charger but won't charge quite as fast. The Rapid Charger 2.0 is currently listed on the US HTC web store, but an exact release date and pricing are yet to be revealed.
