"Girls" hit series gets new season premiere date at HBO (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Girls" fans can now mark their calendars. HBO has announced when the show as well as sophomore comedy "Looking" will return. The fourth season of the Lena Dunham-created series will debut Sunday, January 11 at 9 P.M., followed by the launch of new series "Togetherness" at 9:30 P.M. and the second season debut of "Looking" at 10 P.M., AceShowbiz said.

"Togetherness", from Jay and Mark Duplass, follows two couples living under the same roof who struggle to keep their relationships alive while pursuing their individual dreams. Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey, Steve Zissis and Amanda Peet star on the new comedy.

Meanwhile, fans can get a glimpse at the new season of "Girls" in a recently released promo. "This season of 'Girls' is the girls making smarter choices and realizing that life is still hard," says series creator Lena Dunham who also stars as Hannah.

Hannah is studying at the Iowa Writers' Workshop and is worried that it will ruin her relationship with Adam. Marnie has an affair with actor Desi. Also in the upcoming season, viewers will meet Shoshanna's parents. Gillian Jacobs, Zachary Quinto and Ana Gasteyer are tapped as guest stars.
