Xbox One November update rolls out to all users

PanARMENIAN.Net - The patch of Xbox One November updates is now rolling out to all users, Neowin reports.

This is one of the biggest updates yet and it comes with a slew of new features including UI changes and customization options.

Neowin presents some of the biggest changes coming with the update:

-Custom backgrounds: after slowly rolling out to users in the preview program, the ability to customize the background of your dashboard is now available to everyone. You’ll be able to use achievement art, solid colors or even your own images through the Media Player app.

-Store redesign: the Xbox Store has been redesigned to make it easier to find the games and content you’re looking for. While some may find it a bit less visually appealing, the new Store offers faster navigation, clearer sections, easier access to search and so on. It was an area that definitely needed improvement.

-Profile changes: Gamer profiles have been slightly redesigned offering a new section where you can share a bit of extra info about yourself as well as a Showcase section where you can show off your proudest achievements and coolest game clips.

-Twitter: the social networking platform has been integrated into the Xbox One TV watching sections. Twitter shows up in the Mini Guide and the Live TV Trending sections to help you decide what’s worth watching right now. Unfortunately this feature is only currently available in the U.S.

-Smartglass improvements: Smartglass has received numerous improvements, mainly by adding all the new features mentioned above. You’ll be able to use the app to check out users’ Showcase section and gaming activity. And there are even some cool improvements to the Smartglass Store to make buying games and apps on the go, including Games for Gold, a lot easier.

-Other changes: Additions such as Snap IE, a voice command for “restart now” and better console update info are all making an appearance in this update.
