LG3 smartphone users to get Android 5.0 Lollipop software firstNovember 10, 2014 - 10:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Although it was widely believed that Google's next-generation Nexus devices would be the first to get Android 5.0 Lollipop software, it appears LG's lineup will be getting the upgrade starting this week, Mashable reports. The manufacturer announced on Sunday, Nov 9, that LG3 smartphone users in Poland will be the first to download the new mobile operating system. Previously, Google indicated that the first two devices to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop would be the HTC Nexus 9 tablet and the Motorola Nexus 6, but didn't hint that we might see the software first pop up as an upgrade on other devices. Among the new features coming to Lollipop are a new design language, updated notifications and improved security. LG hasn't revealed details on whether or not Lollipop will be coming to LG G3 devices in other countries — or other smartphones and tablets.
