Oscar winner Christoph Waltz to get star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame

PanARMENIAN.Net - Christoph Waltz will receive a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame at the start of next month, Digital Spy said.

The two-time Oscar-winning actor will get the star under the Motion Picture category and will be the 2,536th recipient of the honour.

Waltz's star will be unveiled by Quentin Tarantino outside Musso & Frank Grill at 6667 Hollywood Boulevard on Monday, December 1.

Tarantino directed Waltz in both his Oscar-winning performances as SS officer Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds (2009) and bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz in 2012's Django Unchained.

Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, said: "Christoph Waltz is one of Austria's greatest exports and Hollywood is thrilled to add his name to our internationally known Walk of Fame."

Vienna-born Waltz began his career on television in Germany in 1979 before receiving worldwide acclaim as Landa in Inglourious Basterds and starring in more Hollywood films.

Waltz will next be seen in Horrible Bosses 2 alongside Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston. The film opens in US cinemas on November 26 and November 28 in the UK.
