PanARMENIAN.Net - Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are going to team up on the small screen. The two Hollywood actresses are set to star on a limited series titled "Big Little Lies" based on Liane Moriarty's book of the same title, according to AceShowbiz.

David E. Kelley will pen the script. Kidman and Witherspoon will executive produce the limited series alongside Kelley. Australian writer Moriarty will also serve as producer. No network is currently attached to the project, but it will be soon shopped to premium cable networks, such as HBO, Showtime and Starz, and streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon.

Moriarty's book is described as a subversive comedy which centers on three mothers to kindergartners whose seemingly perfect lives unravel to a murder-mystery that takes place during a disastrous parents' night at an elementary school fundraiser.

This year, Kidman starred in "Grace of Monaco" as Grace Kelly and "The Railway Man" opposite Colin Firth. She has lent her voice to animated movie "Paddington" due January 16, 2015 in the U.S.

Witherspoon, meanwhile, will next be seen in "Inherent Vice" and "Wild". She recently also produced box office movie "Gone Girl" based on Gillian Flynn's novel.
