Texas rock/pop band announce new album to celebrate 25th anniv.November 28, 2014 - 10:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Texas have announced the release of a new compilation album. The band will release Texas 25 to celebrate their 25th anniversary, according to Digital Spy. The new LP will feature four new songs as well as highlights from the band's greatest hits, reworked with the New York soul outfit Truth & Soul (Amy Winehouse, Adele). "It's almost like we've got who we are, 25 years later," said singer Sharleen Spiteri. Texas 25 was recorded in Truth & Soul's studio in Queens and mixed at The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach's Nashville studios. 2015 will see the Scottish band partake in An Evening With..., where Spiteri will talk about her time in the group and Texas will play as a four piece skiffle ensemble as punctuation points.
