HP rolls out EliteBook Folio 1020 with 5th-gen Intel Broadwell chip

PanARMENIAN.Net - HP has announced the EliteBook Folio 1020, a business-focused laptop with a fifth-generation Intel Broadwell chip inside, Digital Spy reveals.

The machine includes a 12.5-inch QHD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel-resolution, a 720p webcam, and front-facing speakers with HD Audio and DTS Studio Surround.

The EliteBook Folio 1020 sports a completely fanless design, allowing it to run emitting minimal background noise, and its battery provides nine hours of usage.

Aimed at professionals, the computer comes with a range of security solutions in tow, including HP Client Management Solutions, optional LANDesk, Intel vPro technology, and a fingerprint scanner.

Intel unveiled its Broadwell processors last month, and the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro has since been announced as the first consumer laptop to make use of the chipset.

The HP EliteBook Folio 1020 will be released in February, with pricing yet to be confirmed.
