Samsung's “slimmest handset” Galaxy A7 outed online

PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung's Galaxy A7 smartphone has been outed online, and leaked specs suggest it will be the company's slimmest handset to date, according to Digital Spy.

The device will measure in at 6.3mm in thickness, according to PhoneArena, more slender than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha's 6.7mm.

The Galaxy A7 is listed with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor running at 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM, as well as a 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Samsung's latest 4G-ready phone is also said to include 16GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front snapper.

The handset surfaced on China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Centre under the codename of SM-A7009, suggesting it will be part of Samsung's Galaxy Alpha family.

It is yet to be confirmed whether it will feature the same premium build quality of other devices in the Alpha range.
