Julianne Moore fights Alzheimer's disease in Still Alice trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Julianne Moore has a tough fight ahead of her in the emotional first trailer for Still Alice, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The drama stars the actress as Dr. Alice Howland, a mother of three who learns she has early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The film focuses on Alice and her family as they process the news.

"This might be the last year I'm myself," Alice tells her husband.

Kristen Stewart, Alec Baldwin, Kate Bosworth and Hunter Parrish round out the cast of the film co-directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland. It is based on the 2007 novel by Lisa Genova.

Moore has earned significant Oscar buzz for the role, having been named best actress for the film by the National Board of Review Awards, Gotham Independent Film Awards and Hollywood Film Awards.

Sony Pictures Classics releases Still Alice on Jan. 16 after a one-week qualifying run in Los Angeles this month.
