1st look at Ewan McGregor as Jesus in «Last Days in the Desert» December 12, 2014 - 12:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ewan McGregor features in the first picture from Last Days in the Desert, Digital Spy said. The actor plays Jesus and the Devil in director Rodrigo Garcia's adaptation of the Biblical story of the Temptation of Christ. The forty-day period famously saw Jesus tempted to perform miracles for his own gain and to worship the Devil in return for rulership over the world. Tye Sheridan, Ciarán Hinds and Ayelet Zurer will also feature in the movie. The film will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
