Robin Williams’ final performance in “Absolutely Anything” (video) December 17, 2014 - 12:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Terry Jones, known for his work with British comedy troupe Monty Python, has released a clip of Robin Williams‘ final performance in new film “Absolutely Anything”, TheWrap said. The film, which also stars Kate Beckinsale and Eddie Izzard, follows a teacher (Simon Pegg) who is granted the ability to do “absolutely anything” by a band of aliens (played by Jones and his fellow Pythons Eric Idle, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, and Michael Palin). Williams lends his voice to Dennis, Pegg’s character’s dog, who is granted the ability to speak. Pegg’s character hopes Dennis will prove a good conversationalist, but instead Dennis is only concerned with biscuits and “shagging.” Williams, well known for his madcap live performances, had an equally impressive voice acting career. He most notably voiced Genie in Disney’s “Aladdin,” for which a special award was created and presented to him at the 1993 Golden Globe Awards. “Absolutely Anything” has been Jones’ passion project for almost 20 years. He and collaborator Gavin Scott finally secured financing through Jones’ son Bill and his producing partner Ben Timlett. The film does not currently have a US release date, but will premiere in the UK this spring.
