Kasabian leading NME Awards nominationsDecember 18, 2014 - 12:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Kasabian, Royal Blood and Jamie T have received the most nominations for the NME Awards 2015, Digital Spy reveals. Kasabian are up for eight prizes, including Best British Band, Best Live Band, Best Album and Music Moment of the Year. "2014 has been such an incredible year for us," said the rock band. "And being nominated for eight NME Awards is a better Christmas present than getting Castle Greyskull in '86!" Royal Blood and Jamie T picked up seven nominations each. NME editor Mike Williams said: "From massive comebacks to huge breakthroughs, the fact that Kasabian, Royal Blood and Jamie T are leading the way shows what an outstanding year it's been for British rock music. "Last year was the biggest year ever for the NME Awards with Austin, Texas, and 2015 is already shaping up to be the best yet."
