First ever Elvis Presley recordings put up for auction

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first pieces of music ever recorded by Elvis Presley are going to auction.

The recordings of 'My Happiness' and 'That's When Your Heartaches Begin' are expected to raise between $75,000 and $100,000.

As Digital Spy reports citing Invaluable.com, Presley recorded the tracks on 78 rpm acetate as an 18-year-old in 1953.

'My Happiness' and 'That's When Your Heartaches Begin' were hits for Jon and Sondra Steele and Ink Spots in 1948 and 1941 respectively,

The auction will take place on the grounds of the singer's Graceland home in Memphis on January 8, which would have been Presley's 80th birthday.
