Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton part ways after 13years together

PanARMENIAN.Net - Actress Helena Bonham Carter, 48, and director Tim Burton, 56, have called it quits. The couple parted ways after two children and 13 years together. When and why they split is not disclosed, but the breakup is described as an amicable one, AceShowbiz said.

"Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter separated amicably earlier this year and have continued to be friends and co-parent their children," a representative for the actress says. "We would ask that you respect their privacy and that of their children during this time."

Carter, 48, and Burton, 56, began dating in early 2000s. They have two children together, son Billy, 11, and daughter Nell, 7. The couple brought their children to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion at Universal Orlando Resort June this year, and they last stepped out together at an event in London last month.

Since their first meeting on the set of 2001's movie "Planet of the Apes" starring Mark Wahlberg, Carter and Burton frequently worked together in movies like 2005's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", 2007's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", 2010's "Alice in Wonderland", and 2012's "Dark Shadows".

Last year, the couple was rocked with infidelity rumors after Burton was photographed kissing a blonde female. Carter, however, quickly came to his defense. "This is absolutely nonsense," her rep dismissed the cheating report. "The pictures were taken whilst they were out and the large group includes family, friends and work colleagues."
