Acer unveils budget 64-bit Liquid Z410 phone

PanARMENIAN.Net - Acer has expanded its mobile phone range ahead of CES 2015 with the launch of a budget 64-bit handset, Digital Spy reports.

The Liquid Z410 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6732 chipset and offers 4G connectivity without breaking the bank.

The mid-range device features a 4.5-inch qHD screen with a 540x960 resolution, and comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel snapper on the front.

Following in the footsteps of the Liquid Jade and Acer Liquid E3, the handset runs the Android operating system, but it is yet to be confirmed whether it will ship with the latest version on board.

Set to debut in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in February, the Liquid Z401 will launch at just €129 (£100).

Acer has also expanded its laptop range on the eve of CES, revealing the gesture-controlled Aspire V 17 Nitro and its first 15.6-inch notebook PC in the form of the Chromebook 15.
