LG developing prototype smartphone with flexible screenJanuary 8, 2015 - 11:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - LG is experimenting with a prototype smartphone featuring a flexible screen that bends on either side, Digital Spy reveals. The handset appears to use similar display technology to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge to offer a second and third screen of sorts. It features a 720 x 1280 resolution P-AMOLED screen, which pales in comparison to the 1440 x 2560 screen on the Galaxy Note Edge. The 6-inch device was spotted at CES 2015 by Korean news outlet inews24 but was not publicly showcased by the company. LG did reveal a new smartphone at the Las Vegas event in the shape of the LG G Flex 2, which features a 5.5-inch curved display. The company is also believed to be working on its next flagship smartphone, the LG G4, for release in the coming months.
