Ethan Hawke gets star on Hollywood Walk of FameJanuary 9, 2015 - 16:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ethan Hawke is the latest celebrity who cemented his mark on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 44-year-old actor's hand and foot prints were enshrined in cement on Thursday, January 8 in front of TCL Chinese Theatre, AceShowbiz reports. Sporting a burgundy double-breasted blazer over a white shirt, matching necktie and pants, Ethan wrote below his hand prints on the block of cement, "M.I.R.C.L.E." He told the crowd, "To be a part of that legacy, to be a member of that community is all that I've ever, ever wanted. For you guys to welcome me means so much to me." The "Boyhood" actor also spoke about the Charlie Hebdo tragedy in Paris. "I stand in solidarity with everyone in Paris and everybody all over the world who stand for freedom of speech," he said, "We are with you and we thank you." Ethan was supported by friends including his "Predestination" co-star Sarah Snook, producer Jason Blum, director Richard Linklater and twin filmmakers Peter and Michael Spierig. Jason said, "I have known Ethan for over 20 years and he has remarkably remained true to himself through all of his success across independent cinema, commercial cinema, Broadway and publishing. Nobody has walked the tightrope of art and commerce better than Ethan and when I have trouble myself, he has helped me find my way." "The word 'trailblazer' is so overused that it has lost its power, which is too bad, because in Ethan's case it is entirely true. I am proud to call him my friend and collaborator," he added.
